JEM HALL WINDSURF CLINIC RHODES SEPT 2023
The Jem Hall Performance Boost windsurfing clinics will be back in Prasonisi on the Greek Island of Rhodes. Clinic dates Week 1 02-09 September 2023 and Week 2 09-16 September 2023.

The 2024 Simon Winkley Pro Coaching Wing foil clinics take place in the stunning flat water venue of Prasonisi, Southern Rhodes.
The conditions are excellent for intermediate and advanced wing foilers, with very reliable wind stats for September. This will be an incredible week of intermediate and advanced coaching with typically strong wind in a fantastic, remote windsurfing location.
After the coaching, the group enjoy meals together with non-clinic friends and partners are welcome to join the holiday.
The Conditions
The prevailing wind is accelerated by the local ‘Venturi' system as it squeezes between the land masses. The clinic will be run on the flat-water side of the beach.
The wind has a cross-off direction, meaning that setting off and blasting back towards the beach for carve gybes is done in really flat water. Heading further out gives a little more chop for blasting and small jumps.
Course Details
Intermediate and advanced windsurfers will thrive on this clinic. Simon will be working with the group across a range of skills including kit setup and tuning, beach and water starts, getting going, planing, going fast and control at speed, harness and foot straps, tacking, carve gybing, non-planing gybing, improving success rate on manoeuvres.
Other more advanced skills can be covered as required, such as upwind/downwind 360s, duck gybes, body drags, chop hops and more. In the event of lighter winds, achievable freestyle on larger boards will help to improve technique.
There will be loads of improvements that Simon can help you with as well as new ideas and moves to try.
Simon will be making use of simulators and shore-based learning to support the on-water sessions. Coaching includes use of GoPros with various mounts, video coaching and photos to enable a close look at your technique. Expect to work as hard as you like on the water and to enjoy relaxing at all other times with fun, chilled evening socials.
The Centre
The Christof Kirschner Procenter is located just a 5 minute walk along the beach from the tiny village where the accommodation and restaurant is located. It is excellently run by friendly and helpful staff and carries a great range of up-to-date Neil Pryde/JP boards and rigs.

The Accommodation
The group will be staying at the very hospitable and friendly Hotel Lighthouse Asimenis II rooms just a few minutes walk to the beach. There is a further option of staying in the boutique hotel Lighthouse II with access to the swimming pool, just behind the restaurant area. The package is half board with group meals including breakfast and evening meal with tea or coffee and water with meals. Wireless is now available in the taverna and down at the windsurf centre.
