Set by the Donkey Point and not too far from Kalpitiya’s lagoon, this accommodation offers a variety of options, from a villa to a tent, to suit every traveler. Beyond the exotic gardens, the accommodation offers a swimming pool, a bar and restaurant where social events are organised, and many other activities. 

Location

The KSL accommodation is located in the small fishermen village of Kandakuliya, Kalpitiya, in the north west of Sri Lanka. The accommodation is only a 10 minute drive away from the famous lagoon and it is set right in front of the Donkey point, a popular spot among wave riders. 

Accommodation

The accommodation offers 19 bungalows, a villa and 13 deluxe tents.

Lagoon Bungalows: 6 of the bungalows have an open air bathroom and 4 have in-room bathrooms. Those with an in-room bathroom can accommodate up to 3 people in one room, whereas those with open air bathrooms can take up to 4 people in one room, which is equipped with a double bed and two single beds. These bungalows will offer you a view over the beach and the mangroves. 

Garden bungalows: These bungalows have 5 units which accommodate up to 3 people and a unit which can take up to 6 people. The smaller units have one bedroom and an outdoors private bathroom, whereas the larger unit has two bedrooms, each with a private indoors bathroom. These will offer a view over the tropical communal gardens.

The Villa: This air-conditioned four room apartment has 2 floors, 2 gardens and can accommodates up to 8 people. On the first floor you will find a room with a double bed and a semi-open bathroom. There is also a living area with sleeping space for 2 people, a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoors shaded area with dining table. On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms with double beds and bathrooms, a seating and bar area and a terrace with views over the Indian Ocean. 

Deluxe tents: Set in the tropical gardens, the tents can accommodate from 1 to 4 people and are equipped with a mattress, a bedside lamp, a fan and have access to the shared bathroom and toilets. 

Facilities

The accommodation offers exotic gardens, a 25 metre swimming pool and a bar and restaurant, where you can enjoy various drinks and meals which make use of local products. In addition to that, you can enjoy a barbeque every Friday night, as well as an “open mic” session with a professional guitarist, where guests can have fun and socialize every Friday and Saturday night.  The accommodation also organises various activities, such as yoga sessions and excursions, which you can book and pay locally.

The kitesurf centre is located just by the accommodation.
