Located approximately a 30 minutes drive from the airport and 1 hr 45 from Langebaan, The Bay Hotel is situated between the scenic Twelve Apostles Mountain Range and approximately a minutes’ walk away Camps Bay Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. 
 

Accommodation
The Bay Hotel’s luxuriously furnished rooms have views either of the mountains or the sea. Each room is provided with a private lobby, double vanity, twin wardrobes, king or twin beds, air-conditioning, heating, electronic safe, tea and coffee making facilities, personal bar, heated towel rails, hairdryers, pillow service, satellite TV, international plugs and free WiFi. For children up to 3 years old a cot can be provided. There is the choice of eleven types of room, these include;

Mountain Rooms, these have views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. This room features a Day Bed suitable for a child aged 3 – 14 years. 

Classic Rooms, which have a spacious patio with direct access to the pool deck and views of the swimming pool.

Club Classic Rooms, these have a sitting area and views of Lions Head and partial views of the sea and sports field. Rooms feature a Day Bed suitable for a child aged 3 – 14 years. Two of these rooms are wheelchair friendly and equipped for physically disabled guests, with hand rails, wheel chair and lift access to Traders and Tides Bar, which are on the first floor. 

Premiere Mountain Rooms, these rooms are double the size and have a sitting area, spa baths and a balcony, with views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range. These rooms feature a Day Bed suitable for a child aged 3 – 14 years.

Premiere Pool Rooms, with views of Lion Head, the pool area and partially the sea the premiere rooms have a spacious balcony and a sitting area. These rooms feature a Day Bed suitable for a child aged 3 – 14 years.

Premiere Sea, these rooms have a sitting area, a balcony and views over the Atlantic Ocean. These rooms feature a Day Bed suitable for a child aged 3 – 14 years.

Cabana Rooms, located on the ground floor with a private patio and direct access to two cabana pools these rooms have views over the Atlantic Ocean. These rooms feature a Day Bed suitable for a child aged 3 – 14 years and our pet friendly. 

Luxury Rooms, these spacious rooms have spa baths, a sitting area and balconies with sun loungers on. They are sea facing with views over Camps Bay Beach.

Suites, which have two balconies with sea views as well as a spacious living area, positioned perfectly to make the most out of the sunlight. Two of the suites feature a Day Bed suitable for a child aged 3 – 14 years.

Penthouse, this spacious, luxurious room offers a private dressing room, an oval bath, sufficient amount of cupboard space and a private balcony to admire the sea views. Child friendly. 

Adventure Pad, which has a king size bed that can be converted to twin beds, an en suite bathroom, a lounge area and two additional daybeds. On the ground floor this room offers a glass enclosed balcony with slight views of Camps Bay main beach and Lions Head.
 

Facilities 
The Bay Hotel offers breakfast daily, tennis and squash courts, an in house gym, cloak rooms, parking (at an extra charge) and free WiFi. The hotel has the choice of four pools as well as a spa where you can experience African products and practices, as well as couples treatments. The hotel offers a variety of personal training services including, personal training at the gym, powerplate sessions and outdoor and beach training. 


Our Opinion
Our recommendation for full service hotel. A unique 4* hotel with lively atmosphere. We loved the beach views and unique display of the hotel owner's vintage motorbikes!
