Location
Located approximately a 20 minutes drive away from the airport and 1 hr 30 from Langebaan, De Waterkant House is in the heart of the charismatic suburb of De Waterkant. Surrounded by al fresco restaurants, cafes, boutiques and bars the hotels located perfectly to embrace the local culture. Check-in and the reception are located at The Charles.
 

Accommodation
The De Waterkant House offers nine rooms all equipped with, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar fridge, safe, hairdryer, satellite television, mist fan, wall heater and free Wifi. The choices of rooms are;

Classic Rooms, which are perfect for either single travellers or couples. They are provided with a king size bed which can be converted into twin beds, an en-suite bathroom, and views of Table Mountain from the balcony.

Premiere Rooms, which feature an en- suite with a separate bath and shower, a king size bed that can be converted into twin beds and views of either the harbour or city.

Traveller’s Places, these are perfect for those who want to spend less on accommodation. They offer an en-suite with a shower and a king size bed. Views of the harbour, mountain and village are available from the veranda or courtyard.
 

Facilities
De Waterkant House provide free WiFi, parking within walking distance to restaurants and attractions (at an extra cost), a terrace pool overlooking the village and an equipped BBQ station to enjoy the local cuisine (wood is available at an extra cost). For the duration of the stay a membership for Sandy B is provided, this is a private beach club overlooking Camps Bay Beach, (no persons under the age 18 are allowed.) Located at The Charles Guest House, The Charles Cafe serves all day breakfasts, light lunches and coffee. Guests can also enjoy breakfast at the Village Cafe.

Our OpInion
Superb, high quality rooms with set up as a boutique hotel feel, with lovely pool area and breakfast and refreshment provided at sister hotel, The Charles. We recommend the hotels cafe opposite, if you fancy a bit to eat or have sunset cocktail from the Charles roof-top terrace.
