The modern, newly built Design Plus The S Hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the windsurf centre. With sea views from the infinity pool, stylish interiors and restaurant, bar, it is one of the closest hotels to the windsurf centre and a short walk to the many beach clubs. The hotel has a Spa with hamman sauna.  For 15 years and above, it it more adult orientated. It has a spectacular view from the hotel terraces to  Alacati Bay.
 

Location
The hotel is located directly opposite the main windsurf bay launch and centre. It is approximately 1 1/4 hours from Izmir airport (85km) and 2km from a choice of restaurants and bars in old Alacati town 2km away and Illica beach 5km way. The local Domush bus runs regularly which is inexpensive or you can take a local taxi. The beaches are between 5 and 15 minutes walk with choice of beach clubs with sun beds.


Accommodation
Th S Hotel has 132 rooms with contemporary designs with ensuite bathrooms. There are a total of 128 Standard Rooms and 4 Suites. Room category types include: Standard or Suite Deluxe Rooms with Land View, Side Sea View or Sea View with 1-2 persons.

Standard Room
These 20m² rooms are designed in 'industrial'  style and come equipped with a comfortable 160cm x 200 cm bed. Facilities include a shower, hairdryer, LCD cable TV,  free Wi-Fi . A minibar is available in every room with charge payable locally, plus tea and coffee facilties.

Superior Room
These industrial style rooms offer a  sophisticated, uncluttered, modern design and comes with a living area. All superior rooms come equipped with a comfortable 160 cm x 200 cm bed, minimalist amenities including a shower and hairdryer They have an LCD cable TV and free Wi-Fi. A minibar is available for a charge payable locally, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

Suites
These spacious suites are 56m² with double bed, separate living area with American style kitchenette, dining room table, 2 x LCD cable TVs, in room telephone and safe, shower, hair dryer, fruit, tea and coffee making facilities. A minibar is available for a charge payable locally.


Facilties
The hotel has a main restaurant, located on the lobby floor. This restaurant offers a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Local and international dishes are available with a contemporary indoor seating area and outdoor diving available on the terrace.  The hotel's Lobby Bar is designed in classic style where you can relax and have a drink open 24 hours. The hotel is available on buffet bed and breakfast board basis with restaurant offering lunch and dinner and bar offering a selection of cocktails and premium brand spirits, at the hotel lounge or S Bar. The Relax Pool Bar serves food and drinks on the terrace during the day to early evening. Room service is available with extra charge. Locally is it worth heading into old Alacati town noted for it's pretty, cobbled streets and architecture, produce from local vineyards and selection of restaurants and cafes.

The hotel has an infinity pool with sunbeds and views to Alacati Bay. The La Brise Spa and wellness centre has several treatment rooms, a jacuzzi, a Turkish Bath/hamman, a fitness room, shower, beauty salon, changing rooms and a relaxation area. Pamper yourself with the signature or regular massage treatments as well as a sauna visit and relax at the indoor spa pool or the steam room. Booking for treatments on arrival is advisable to ensure availability.

Beach Clubs
Alacati is known for it's beach clubs located around the Alacati Bay area. The S Hotel is not on a beach front position but is within 5-15 minutes walk to a choice of private beach clubs with sandy beach, direct water access for swimming and sunbeds and shades. Reservations are recommended in peak season through the hotel and there is a minimum charge for refreshments and or beds. Some beach clubs offer live music and DJs.

Our Opinion
This newly designed hotel offers contemporary style and is one of the closest hotels to the windsurf and sports centre. We recommend a sea view room to check out the conditions first thing and a massage and sauna to ease any aching muscles.
