Sardinia RRD NeilPryde Windsurf Centre - Sardinia - Porto Pollo, Greece & Mediterranean

The windsurf centre at Porto Pollo, on the north west coast of Sardinia, offers excellent wind, flat water conditions for windsurfer for all levels in the summer months. You can pre-book a range of rental and instruction packages with a wide range of equipment and other activities. The area is particularly suited to beginners and juniors with a summer Kids and Teen's academy from 4 to 14 years, so ideal for families.


Location
The windsurf centre is located on the sandy beach of Porto Pollo on the north east coast of Sardinia, approximately 47km around 50 minutes drive from the nearest airport at Olbia. There is a choice of budget and luxury accommodation nearby with self catering apartments withing walking distance. 


Services
The centre offers rental of 250 brand new RRD windsurf and kite boards as well as a large number of NeilPryde rigs in all sizes with junior equipment - renewed each year. The centre operates two RIB rescue boats with certified lifeguards on the team. The centre also offers SUP boards and sea kayaks for free with rental or instruction packages, SUP tours and excursions. Hobie Cat, Laser dingies and BIC sail boards are available to rent with discounted rates in combination with windsurf or kitesurf packages. Yoga is available booked locally for all levels 3 times a week between 8:15am and 9:30am with a local charge. There is a beach shop with a selected of beachwear, used and new equipment and accessories.
 

Facilities
The Tiki Beach bar serves food and drinks during the day and some evening and is located next to the centre Open to 6pm in low season and 8pm in high season with happy hour from 5pm. We recommend you reserve to get a table. Child supervision available from May to September between 11am-1pm and 3.30pm to 5.30pm except for Saturday, for voucher clients of the centre. Plus weekly BBQ and beach party with live music. During the low season, sunbeds are available free for all customers (chargeable locally). An official dimensioned, equipped beach volleyball court is available, FatBoy cushions to chill out on and free WiFi.

Rental
Over 250 brand new RRD windsurf boards and new NeilPryde sails in all sizes for basic, PWS, Pro and Kite equipment with combi rental discounts. Special kids gear in all sizes. SUP Board and kayak free with one week's rental for person renting equipment.

Three types of sail boat are available to rent: Hobie Cat 15, Laser Standard 4.7m and open Bic 3.3m for kids with discounted rates in combination with windsurf or kitesurf packages.

Family Discount: 2 persons of the same family, sharing the same equipment - 1st person pays 100%, 2nd person pays 50%.

Tuition
Windsurfing tuition is available for all levels and is taught according to wind and weather conditions. The courses available include kids, beginners to advance with flexible booking periods from 2/4/6/8/10/12 hrs courses over 1 - 7 days. Private lessons (1 instructor to 1 student), Semi Private lessons (1 instructor to 2 students) and private group lessons (1 instructor and up to 4 students) are available.
 

Please note: All lessons are group unless shown as private. Group lessons are minimum 3 persons. If only 2 persons a 2 hour lesson is reduced to 1.5 hours, if only one person in the less the lesson is reduced to 1 hours (with the same rate).
