Alacati Windsurf & Kitesurf Centre - JP Neil Pryde - Alacati, Turkey

The Alacati windsurf centre in Turkey offers windsurfing rental and instruction and is ideal for all levels of windsurfer from beginner  to advanced slalom and freestyle due to it's flat water sheltered conditions. It is especially suited to children with a range of light and easy to use equipment. Alacati is also the location of the PWA World Cup, which takes place every year in August, showcasing the world's best men & women slalom windsurfers in world class conditions.

Location
The centre is located on the west shore of Alacati Bay just a short walk from our recommended hotels. The wind is on shore with shallow, flat water areas and a sand bottom. Access to the windsurfing area is directly in front of the centre. There is a shallow water area for beginners just upwind of the centre. The instructiom kitesurfing spots are on the opposite site of the bay, a short 5-10 minute boat transfer. Alacati Bay also provides great riding conditions for independent kitesurfers directly from the centre launch.
 

Facilities
Full rental and instruction service with a wide choice of the latest JP boards and Neil Pryde sails. Wetsuits are available and it is recommended to wear a semi-dry in the spring and autumn and steamer or shorty wetsuit in the summer and to bring your own surf shoes. Wetsuits, harnesses and helmets are available to rent but are limited so we recommend to book in advance.There is a rescue boat on stand by if needed. A kitesurfing boat shuttle available to the kitesurfing spot at certain times by arrangement.Private Storage: Limited space is available for those with their own equipment at an additional charge. (This is required to be booked in advance to guarantee availability.)

 
Activities
The centre offers video clinics, SUP, mountainbiking. Locally you can visit the local bazaar in Old Alacati Town, head to Çeşme for shopping or book on cultural tours to Erthyai, Ephesus take a boat trip from the nearby marina or enjoy a BBQ at the Center in peak times. There is also fitness equipment, fitness/stretch sessions and volleyball.

Rental

Equipment insurance is payable at the centre before taking out equipment.
 

Discounts
Discounts of 15% on rental in low season (end April - mid May, mid September to end of October).
Couples with children can share boards with the 2nd person only paying +20% on the rental rate. 
2 adults sharing one board, the 2nd person pays +30% on the rental rate.
Kitesurfing Rental available by the day, with special rates for 6-7 days. 

 
Tuition
A complete tuition programme is available for all levels from beginner to expert. Group lessons are 2 hours per unit. If there is just 1 or 2 students, the lessons will be reduced to 1 hour per lesson.
 

Windsurfing
VDWS Beginners Group Course, Intermediate & Advance courses.

Kitesurfing 
All courses are taught to IKO international standards. Kitesurfing courses are taught as Semi Private (2 students to 1 instructor) or Private lessons only.

Beginner courses (3 to 5 days)
All equipment is included (kites, board, harness, wetsuit, buoyancy vest, helmet).

Please note the Kitesurfing instruction area is not in front of the centre in Alacati but a 5-10 minute boat shuttle away on the opposite site of the Bay from the centre.
