Tarifa Windsurf Centre Valdevaqueros Beach
Located on the beach in front of the Rancho Valdevaqueros Hotel, this is a full service windsurf centre with rental, rescue, instruction a bar, restaurant and chill out areas with a wide beach for relaxing when not on the water. Our recommended Kitesurf centre is also based here. Windfoiling rental, private and semi private lessons will be available. Open mid March to November.
Tarifa Windsurf Centre Hurricane Hotel
Located on the beachfront of the beautiful Hotel Hurricane in Tarifa is the windsurfing centre. The main centre is at Valdevaqueros beach but this centre offers the convenience of full rental and instruction facilities at the Hurricane Hotel.
Tarifa Kitesurf Centre Valdevaqueros Beach
The Duotone kitesurf centre is found on Valdevaqueros beach in Tarifa, the windy capital of Europe. A range of the latest Duotone and North kite board equipment, service package for those with your own equipment, flexible instruction packages for all levels and kite foil rental and instruction. Plus great chill out area, bar and restaurant. Open mid March to November.

| Best Time: April-September. Launch: Sandy beach with some rocks exposed at times. Wind Direction: Generally summer 'Poniente' cross on-shore from right. Spring and autumn 'Levante' cross off-shore from left. Wind Type: Strong cyclonic winds. Shorebreak: Moderate - strong if Poniente/Sirocco blows. Water Conditions: At the Hurricane centre the wind chop conditions up to half mast high waves in spring/summer. Softer conditions at Valdevqueros. Suitability: Intermediate and above. Beginners more shelterd spot at Las Dunas on Valdevaqueros beach. |
