El Gouna Windsurf and Kitesurf Centre - El Gouna, Red Sea

The windsurf and kitesurf centre in El Gouna on the Red Sea, offers a lagoon almost 5km wide, with turquoise blue water, enless sandy beaches and constant winds making it a perfect destination for learning and training, with water in the lagoon at low tide.
 

Location
Located on the edge of El Gouna,approximately 2 kilometres north from Abu Tig Marina.  Complimentary shuttles run to and from the marina around every 10 minutes when booked in advanced.


The Spot
The centre offers a huge sailing area, with the biggest shallow flat water lagoon in El Gouna, sailable water during low tide to around knee / waist deep. The thermal winds are strongest in the morning, steady and gradually dropping off in the afternoon, usually side shore, blowing from the north-north west until around 10.00- 11.00am and turning to north around midday and back to N-NW in the evening. 
 

Facilities
The centre offers a variety of facilities and activities including a snack-bar restaurant, shop, massages, beach soccer, beach volley ball, a kids and nanny service (bookable in advance and payable locally), reception and welcome area, WiFi, a terrace, chill out area, lockers, toilets, changing rooms, Bedouin tent with regular social events, including bonfire sundowner parties.
 

Services
The centre provides rental and instruction packages. Changing and storage rooms. Kitesurfers will have access to the compressor to inflate kites with a beach service providing assistance for launching and landing. The centre has a rescue boat service that will bring you back to shore if necessary. Group and individual lessons are pre-bookable for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Stand up paddle boarding tours are available around the El Gouna lagoons.

Windsurfing Tuition: Starter, Refresher, Advanced, Kids, Semiprivate & Private.
Windsurf lessons from beginner up to expert level are available and can be booked in either groups or private lessons.Group lessons are maximum 6 persons. If there is only 1 person in a group less the time will be reduced but you will receive one to one instruction for the same rate.
