The Dhow Inn is a small boutique hotel with a modern and stylish decor, 2 swimming pools, butler pool service, superb restaurants plus cocktail lounge bar whilst looking out across the Indian Ocean.


Location 
The Dhow Inn is situated in the friendly fishing village of Paje, a tranquil and characteristic place known for having one of the most beautiful beaches in East Africa that you will mostly share with seaweed farmers, fishermen and Masaai. Coming from the beach, the Dhow Inn is in the second row behind Jambo Bar so not directly on the beach but approximately a 10 minute walk to the kitesurf centre and launch spot.
 

Accommodation
The Dhow Inn is a small but well appointed boutique hotel with a modern and stylish decor. It has 24 standard and 4 superior rooms, with more space and will take a third bed. Located in one of two separate areas, each accommodation area has it's own swimming pool. Enjoy a complimentary refreshing drink on arrival with mini-bar (payable locally) on your personal terrace. Lounge by the pool in a comfy, contemporary day bed and enjoy room or pool-side butler service. The rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fan, hot pressure water from solar heaters, king sized beds with spacious over-sized mosquito nets, toilet and shower, directly off the bedroom, separated for independent use, safe box, telephone, free WIFI plus outside storage for beach gear.
 

Facilities
The Dhow Inn offers a choice of restaurants, a lounge and a bar to enjoy a wide variety of fresh food and cocktails in a relaxed setting. Choose from breakfast, half-board or full-board arrangements. The three distinctive and chic eating and drinking environments, each with a unique menu and ambiance, provide you with variety and choices depending on your mood. For  more formal dining,  there is “The First Floor” restaurant, located in a private area upstairs. This restaurant is an elegant and intimate place to savour a fine, full course dinner with high level service while overlooking the stunning sea and swaying coconut trees. The Grill offers carefully selected meats and seafood caught daily off the shores of Zanzibar  Tastefully seasoned and cooked over charcoal in the open flame grill. A choice of delicious side dishes and an array of sauces compliment the fresh grilled meat. The Bar & Lounge offers a cool,  atmosphere to chill out and socialize. Sip on a tropical cocktail, nibble tasty food, play pool or catch a game on the satellite TV. Enjoy the intimate atmosphere inside The Bar or kick-back on the terrace of The Lounge with views of the stunning Indian Ocean.

The Dhow Inn has 3 swimming pools. There are also washing and storage facilities for your kitesurf equipment, rental of water proof mobile phones rental, laundry service (chargeable locally), nearby shops, massage service and free WIFI in public areas and guest rooms free of charge. The hotel has a small private beach with some sun beds where you can relax. Nearby there is beach volleyball and table tennis.
