Set directly on the stunning, sandy Cabedelo beach, next to  Viana do Castelo, the Hotel is a contemporary 4* new concept sports hotel,  dedicated to an active holiday whilst offering relaxing and comfortable surroundings with onsite sports centre offfering rental and instruction.

Location
Located just south of picturesque, medieval town of Viana do Castelo next on the north Portuguese Atlantic coast approximately 60 minute drive from Porto International Airport. Located directly behind the natural pine forest of Cabedelo Beach. a short 5 minute walk to the beach along a boardwalk.


Accommodation
This architect designed, contemporary hotel, using natural building materials, such as wood, with views to the pinewood forest. The interiors are stylish and homely with the reception, lounge sitting area leading directly to the Taverna bar-restaurant, separate main dining restaurant, swimming pool and outdoor terrace, lounge and dining area running the length of the building.

The room categories are Standard Room - garden and sea side facing, Junior Suites, Suite and Family Bungalows. The Standard, Junior Suites and Suite are located on the main floor of the main building. The 9 Family bungalows are located in the garden area and are separate units accessible by a wooden slated boardwalk. The feature Complimentary Wi-Fi, walls in natural wood, double glazed windows, mini bar (payable locally), complimentary bathroom products, hair dryer, satellite TV, digitial room safe box and direct dial telephone.

Standard Room - Garden or Seaside
Spacious and full of natural light, these rooms were designed to provide maximum comfort, With a queen-size 200 x 200 or two single beds and en-suite bathroom with shower and one sink. The rooms have a private terrace with view to the garden or seaside rooms offer a view of the pine forest. There are no sea view rooms. Maximum: 2 adults with option for extra bed. Approx: 26m² (Adapted room: 28m²).

Junior Suite
Excellent for those looking for a little more space, private terrace with views to the Pine forest. Idea families with one child as the suite can fit an extra bed without compromising the room’s ergonomics. Maximum: 2 adults + 1 child. Approx: 35m². Room Features 1 x Queen-size bed 200 X 200 and en-suite bathroom with shower and twin sinks.

Suite
The Suite incorporates two separate inter-connecting rooms - with spacious bedroom with 1 x Queen-size bed 200 x 200 and en-suite bathroom with shower and twin sinks, private terrace with connecting door to separate sitting room with double sofa bed and 2nd en-suite bathroom with bath with hand shower. Maximum: 2 adults + 2 children. Approx: 53m².


Bungalow
If you are looking for a special space for you and your children, the bungalows accommodation a maximum: 2 adults + 2 children. Approx. 35.94 m² with private entrance and separate bedroom with 1 Queen-size bed 200 x 200, en-suite bathroom with shower and separate sitting room with 1 x double sofa bed and private terrace with view to garden.

Facilities
The FeelViana Restaurant offers an excellent breakfast buffet with choice of fresh fruit. Fresh squeezed juices and home-made bread, pastries and conserves, continental cereal and cooked options as well as local cold meat and cheese. Lunch and dinner can be taken in the adjacent a la carte or Taverna-style bar-restaurant with choice of light, snack or fine dining options. There is a choice of local and international wines and Premium brand spirits.

Activities
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, adjacent to the restaurant with decking area and sunbeds with bar open during the summer months. A kids club and adjacent pump track (for bike and skateboard) keeps the younger guests occupied, bookable on request (maximum 6 children (hours vary from summer to winter months). The indoor spa pool is open year round with children up to and including 14 years welcome until 4:00pm daily. After 4:00pm the spa pool area is reserved for 15 years and above and adults only. It is Mandatory to use a swimming cap in the indoor swimming pool. The spa area incorporates a gym, yoga and fitness studio, sauna, steam room, relaxation area and private and couple massage treatment rooms. Yoga and pilates classes are regularly scheduled and the spa offers a range of specialist treatments and massages including Ayurvedic, reflexology, hot stone massage, Japanese origin Shiatsu and Tui-Na Chines massage as well as specific massage treatments for head, neck or leg to easy those aching muscles from 30 to 90 minutes plus beauty treatments using natural, organic Voya products. Spa packages are available on request.


Sports Centre
The centre is located on the ground floor of the hotel offering a variety of packages for surfing, stand up paddleboard (SUP), MTB, cycling with repair and servicing shop, hiking, trail running and running and in the summer months (May to October) windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing and new for 2019 a cable wake park. A range of the latest Scott, JP/Neil Pryde and Cabrinha equipment is available for instruction and rental packages that are suitable both for experienced athletes and for beginners and juniors. The Sports Center support area has fully equipped shower rooms, with 48 ventilated lockers with padlocks to store and dry suits, boards and other equipment.

Our Opinion
We loved the stylish design of the hotel and relaxation areas and delicious local dishes. With easy access to the beach and bay along a short boardwalk, you can enjoy the many sports packages from the hotel. For relaxation, there is a superb spa complex with pool, sauna, steam room and a range of massage treatments. Perfect to ease those aching muscles. Do book the SUP excursion to medieval river market town, Ponte de Lima.
