Location
Approximately, 1 hour 45 minutes drive from Barcelona airport or 45 minutes from Girona airport, Can Pico is quietly hidden in the region of Alt Emporda. Only 4 km away from the beaches of the Bay of Rosas at the Spanish Costa Brava. Alt Emporda Region is mainly rurual with many fruit farm and superb for exploring by car or bicycle. A large part of the Alt Emporda landscape is a protected natural reserve. The combination of seascape and rural countryside makes Alt Empordà - Costa Brava one of the loveliest wine regions in the country. The region is famous for its historical villages, rich culture and gastronomy. 

Accommodation
This boutique hotel has a total of 10 modern, luxuriously appointed rooms. Room categories include 5 Standard Rooms, 2 Superior Rooms and 2 Suites. All rooms are decorated in a similar style but differ in sizes and shapes as the original layout of rooms was kept. All are equipped with an air conditioning system, safe, minibar and satellite TV with beds offering superior quality mattresses, luxurious linens, towling robe and complimentary toiletries and very high standard of comfort. Standard rooms come with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. Superior rooms, which are larger, with super king size bed and a sofa, are located on the second floor, with views to the inner terrace and garden with swimming pool. The Vineyard Suite, has a double bedroom and a separated living room. It has a private entrance and terrace with a view on fields and mountains. The hotel only accepts children ages 14 years and over.

Facilities
The hotel offers an outdoor, heated swimming pool surrounded by well kept gardens. The bright galeria lounge room is the ideal pace to enjoy the afternoon sunshine with a good glass of wine. You can request wine tastings of premium Spanish regional wines in the hotel's bodega in advance which are arranged for 5 persons or more.  The lounge has has original local art and high ceilings and elegant, large open fire perfect to  relax with a book, talk to friends or enjoy a glass of wine from the local producers. The hotel has free WiFi available in all areas, should you wish to get connected. The hotel only offers breakfast, which is served on the terrace or in the lounge area. There are many restaurants in the local area, which the hotel will be pleased to recommend.

Windsurfing/Kitesurfing/SUP
Approxiamtely a 15 minute drive to the windsurf and kitesurf centre on Golf De Rosas beach. We recommend that you hire a car which we can arrange for collection either at Barcelona or Girona airport. More >  

Our Opinion
The ideal location for a luxurious break in a quiety and peaceful location. The Can Pico wine tastings, including their own label, come highly recommended with special tasting events in September.
