Dahab Kitesurf Coaching Camp 17 - 24 May 2014
with Lee Harvey Kitesurfing Clinics
You will be met at the airport by Lee and the the rest of the group ready to head to Dahab for this group pro coaching clinic. The week offers 5 days of flat water coaching and introduction to wave sailing with group accommodation at the small kiters lodge on the spot. Lee will give one to one coaching, helping you move to the next level with your riding and opportunity for open sea riding, wave riding and tricks should you wish. The flat water lagoon on the spot allows you to practise as much as you need to.
Course Level: Intemediates + - able to ride upwind
Accommodation
The kitesurfers lodge, where the group will be staying is a simple, hotel just 20m to the beach. The kite centre is on site and the Italian manager also owns the lodge! In the evening its a short walk into the local town of Masbat with choice of local bars and restaurants and great, buzzing atmosphere. This is an ideal location to bring a partner or non-kiting friend.
Kite Zone
Staying in the Kitesurfers Lodge right on the waters edge, you will be able to work on your kitesurfing technique in the shallow water area that extends for 70m off the beach. Protected by the small, offshore reef keeps the water nice and flat. Just after, you reach open sea conditions, with swell or chop, depending on the wind strength. Just 200m upwind is a huge, flat water lagoon protected from the waves - ideal for practising moves. When you are ready you can venture onto the waves, where Lee will help your tricks and wave riding technique. It's all so easy here!
Course Content
The 5 days coaching with BKSA coach and World Tour rider, Lee Harvey will be tailored to suit the group's overall needs and include personal coaching sessions. Coaching runs from 10am-4pm with launch break. Evenings will include debriefs and theory sessions relevant to the days activities.
Outside of these times you will be able to join Lee while freeriding or surfing and gain extra tips and be safe in the company of a North Kiteboard pro rider and fully insured BKSA coach.
