Kos - Watersports Centre Caravia Beach - Kos - Marmari, Greece & Mediterranean

The watersports centre Caravia beach stands on a 1km white sandy beach on the north east coast of Kos, just a short walk from the 4* luxurious Caravia Beach Hotel.

Location
The watersports centre is situated on a stunning 1km white sandy beach adjacent to the Cavaria Beach Hotel on the north east coast. The vast beach gives windsurfers, kitesurfing and sailors of all abilities plenty of space to learn and practise skills. The area benefits from an accelerating north west wind funnelling between Kos and neighbouring islands. In addition to some of the strongest winds on Kos, the stunning beach and hotel, you can also enjoy a refreshing drink at the oldest surfer bar on the Island. 
 

Facilities
Umbrellas, sun loungers, showers and a towel service are available for guests along the beach. The Beach bar serves a selection of snacks and drinks in front of the Caravia Hotel. Toilet facilities can be found in the hotel and beach bar.
 

Services
Windsurfing equipment is available for hire from the centre offering a choice of JP boards and Neil Pryde. The centre is run by a small team of fully qualified and experienced instructors offering VDWS courses and qualifications. Sailing lessons take place on the centres Hobi cat 15s, with 4 types of course to choose from. A two hour trail course, a 10 hour beginner course, a 4 hour transfer course or a refresh and advanced course. Alternatively you can book onto a sailing trip to enjoy the sailing experience, with a professional instructor sailing your group over the Mediterranean. SUP boards from Bic are also available for hire to enjoy a day out on the water even on windless days, as they are perfect to surf on the smaller waves.

Tuition

All courses give you the opportunity to gain the international VDWS license

Sailing Courses
Beginner and advanced courses are from 3 persons, otherwise there is a reduction of lessons.
