The Dakhla Kitesurf Wing Foil Windsurf Camp offers a range of budget to private VIP, group, camp and chalet bungalow accommodation right on the flat water, Dakhla lagoon. This camp rental and instruction for Kitesurf, Wing Foil and Windsurfing.

Location
Located at the northern end of the highly regarded windsurfing and kitesurfing Dakhla lagoon (approximately 40km long by 4km wide) Dakhla airport is around 28km away. 


Accommodation
There are two areas with a choice of 3 different categories of accommodation: Windhunter Camp for budget, Dragon Camp and VIP Rooms. Rooms have 220v electricity with adaptors required for European plugs.

Dragon Camp (approx. 18m²) is made up of 45 eco constructed bungalows, using local sand for the exteriors. Set in a natural lanscape on 3 tiers of of gently rising hillside afford a impressive view of the lagoon at sunset. Each includes twin beds, ensuite private bathroom with toilet and shower, terrace area and are closer to the reception, restaurant and bar.

Windhunter Camp (approx. 16m²-45m²)  is approximately 500m from the Dragon Camp and around 5 minute walk to the restaurant. Surrounding by nature and dunes, there is a choice of  twin, triple or bunk room accommodation with terrace area. The Windhunter 'Family' rooms is 45m² with a main floor with double bed and close and second floor made of wood with 3 single beds with fantastic views,  Each chalet bungalow has an ensuite, private bathroom.

VIP Bungalows (approx. 30-40m²) are located in the Dragon Camp with superb views of the lagoon, speed spot and Dragon Island. Ocean, Sand, Santoro & Soraya Bungalows (appox 30m²) are at the top level of the camp with 1 room, double bed, ensuite private bathroom with WC and shower, stone closet, sofa, satellite TV and terrace. Dragon, Wind, Laguna, Imlili, Portorico and Flamingo Bungalows (appox 40m²)  are located in centre of the Dragon Camp have a room with double bed, ensuite private bathroom with Italian style shower with door, 1 sink and separate WC, 2 closets, satelitte TV, 3 x 2m window, living room with sofa, coffee table, satellite TV and terrace with view over the Dakhla peninsula and Dragon Island. Upgrade to VIP service to include daily cleaning, late check out on request in advance, free internet access, fresh fruit and water on arrival, towels and bathrobes. Children from 4 to 12 years can be accommodated in the VIP bungalows at a reduced rate.


Facilities
The camp includes a sociable bar - restaurant area serving a variety of snacks and meals just 10 meters from the main launch spot. Relax with a cool cocktail and sit back and enjoy the action. Beer, wine, spirits and non alcoholic beverages such as traditional fruit juices are available. Twice a week in the busy season, there is a DJ with chill out sessions at sunset. The camp has the option to book a hammam locally in Dakhla with massage, relaxing and rejuvinating stream treatments with argon oil (payable locally). A range of kitesurfing inclusive packages from learn to advanced instruction courses, rental, storage plus specialist wake tow park right next to the centre.

Our Opinion
A surfers camp, with good options for both budget and VIP accommodation for kitesurfers with wing foil and wingfoil rental and instruction. Good for groups and solo kiters of all levels, sociable and fun.
