Location
Situated on the North coast of Mauritius, in Kalodyne, close to the fishermen’s village of Grand Gaube and 15 minutes to the busier Gran Baie area, Zilwa Attitude offers a breathtaking view on the 5 islands of the northern coast: Coin de Mire, Ile Plate, Ilôt Gabriel, Ile Ronde and Ile aux Serpents. The hotel provides 4 beaches and two small, private islands to enjoy. The transfer is 1¼ hour from the airport and 45 minutes from the capital, Port Louis.

Accommodation
A contemporary, Mauritius styled hotel with 214 rooms with 3 main categories - Superior, Family and Couple. Each room category offers an individual designed theme incorporating writings and paintings from local Mauritian artists. The furnishing are made from local materials such as coconut fibre rugs. Each room comes with air-conditioning, ensuite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and separate WC, telephone, TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities , ceiling fan, safe, private balcony or terrace and internet access and your own tradtional 'Dodo' flip flops.

Superior Rooms (35m²) have one double or two twin beds, are situated in one or two storey thatched bungalow buildings and can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child (0-12 years) They are also available with sea-view.

Couple Rooms Deluxe Rooms (40m²) have one double bed, are situated on the ground floor, in two storey thatched buildings and can accommodate 2 adults and have a lounge area. They are also available with a beach front location.

Couple Junior Suite (50m²) have one double, are situated on the 1st floor, in two storey thatched buildings and can accommodate 2 adults, with a jucuzzi on the balcony. They are also available with sea-view or beach front location.

Couple Privilege Suite (40m²) have one double, are situated on the 1st floor, in two storey thatched buildings and can accommodate 2 adults. They are also available with sea view or beach front location.

Family Sea View Rooms (45 m²) have one double and 1 sofa bed in 2 separate bedroom areas, accommodation 2 adults and 2 children and are located on the ground floor and come with with sea-view. The Family Deluxe Sea View Room (50 m²) have one double and 2 twin beds in 2 separate bedrooms, accommodation 2 adults and 3 children and come with with sea-view. There are also Family Apartments (80m²) made up of 2 double rooms with  joint entrance hall.. Each room is fitted with a double bed and a sofa bed. They apartment can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children (0-12 years inclusive) or 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children (0-12 years inclusive), located on the ground and first floors.

Facilities
True to the hotel concept, guests can explore the best of Mauritius culinary cuisine in any of the 6 special theme restaurants. The all inclusive 'Dine Around' experience invites guests to choose from 3 of the 6 hotel restaurants. Breakfast and dinner in buffet style is offered in the main Kayay restaurant. For dinner you can experience live cooking in two different restaurants Sate (Indonesia) & Siaw (International - Mauritius - Pan Asian cuisine). There is also the à la carte restaurant Lor Disab for adults only including a bar located directly at the beach. It is open for lunch and dinner. Additional lunch options include a Gran Zil BBQ on one of the small islands for or in Taba-J where lunch, snacks and afternoon tea is served. For a drink in between the main bar and lounge, the Siro Kann, is a relaxing place to be. Long trousers are required for gentlemen at dinner.

There are three swimming pools – one main pool, one pool with kids area and one beach pool. The Attitude Spa has six single treatment rooms and four double treatment rooms, a wat-su pool, steam room and ice fountain offering a range of massage therapies. A kid's club provides activities daily from 9:00am to 21:00hrs for ages 3 to 12 years with early supervised supper in the main restaurant. Babysitter services are available at additional charge booked in advance through reception.

Windsurfing/Kitesurfing/SUP
The centre is located approximately 5 minutes drive or 15/20 minutes walk with kitesurfing rental, instruction and rescue service for those with their own equipment. The centre will arrange a boat to collect you from the Zilwa Attitude beach, take you out into the lagoon and return daily by arrangement. More >

Our nearest recommended hotel to the kitesurfing and windsurfing lagoon. Use the centres VIP pick up service from the the beach and shuttle you directly to the spot you want and back again!
