Ialyssos, Rhodes Duotone/North Kitesurf Centre - Rhodes - Ialyssos, Greece & Mediterranean

The North kitesurfing centre in Ialyssos in Rhodes is located on Kremasti Beach being less busy and just 3km from the Blue Horizon Hotel or with local hotel options.

Location
The centre is located on Kremasti Beach which is on the west cost and 3km from the Blue Horizon Hotel. There is a shuttle from the Pro windsurf centres in Ialyssos twice a day. At approximately 9.30am and 13:30pm going from the centres at the Blue Horizon or the Surf House and returning around 13:45pm and 17:45pm. At Kremasti, there is a wide sandy beach for launch and the less busy beach and open bay makes it a great location to learn in or cruise uninterrupted. The wind conditions are side/cross shore from the left. The wind is usually lighter in the morning, when beginners can take lessons.


Services
Kitesurf lessons from try out lessons up to advanced lessons and can be booked in either groups or private lessons. For qualified kiters, the full range of North kites and boards can be rented. There is a service to assist you with launching and landing a rescue service on stand-by for guest of the centrem if needed. In peak season with demand, the centre arranges weekly guided downwind excusions, payable locally, usually on a Sunday.
Limited space available for those with their own equipment at an additional charge. (This is required to be booked in advance to guarantee availability.)
Windsurfing is available just to the left of the Blue Horizon Hotel, approximately 3km away.

Take a course or rent an equipment with the help of the friendly staff for launching and landing, using the latest hi-tech equipment from North. The team of professional instructors are always there to assist with the aid of jet-bikes in the water. Learning Kitesurfing is easy in small groups of 4-6 people per instructor for practicing the theory on the beach and of 2-4 people per instructor for training in the water. Please note there are no lessons scheduled on a Sunday. The  wide beach offers water free of swimmers and a long, clear shore-line where learning to kite is fun and easy. The first stage is taught on the beach with the Helix Training kite. With the latest teaching methods you will master the body drag, water start, riding and steering the kite.
