Martinique Windsurf & Kitesurf Centre - Martinique, Caribbean

The Sportif windsurfing & kitesurfing centre in Martinique in the Caribbean is located on the beach at the Hotel Carayou, meters from the waters' edge. There is a slight wind shadow at the launch however this is made up for once you get out into the bay and in the prevailing winds, and with warm waters year round it means that you can leave your wetsuit out of your suitcase!

Location
The centre is located at Hotel Carayou and is just meteres from the water's edge. There is a narrow launch area which has a slight wind shadow. The kitesurfing area is large and surrounded by greenery/mangroves making it a great location for Beginners. Further out the conditions are usually flat water, with some bump and jump.


Facilities
The centre has a spacious chill out desk, jetty, bar, WC & showers. It also has Sunbeds and Umbrellas which can be used for free for all.


Services
Full rental and instruction service with a wide choice of the latest Fanatic boards, North sails and North Kiteboarding equipment. For kitesurfing your level will need to be checked when you're at the centre before renting the equipment. There is a rescue boat and baywatch service available if needed.
Limited storage space is available for those with their own windsurfing equipment at an additional charge. (This is required to be booked in advance to guarantee availability.)
Other activities from the centre include wakeboarding/waterskiing, sailing and canoeing/kayaking.

Equipment is included for all lessons. For windsurfing there is a maximum of 2 people per course and private lessons can be booked locally.
