The El Yaque kitesurfing centre in Margarita in the very south of the Caribbean is based on the beach with the El Yaque Paradise hotel just a few meters from the waters edge and offers the latest North Kiteboarding equipment for rental and instruction packages.

Location
The kitsurf centre I is located in the El Yaque Paradise Hotel on a 300m palm fringed beach, which is just a few meters from the waters edge with Centre II just 800m downwind. There is a shallow area reserved for windsurfers and with clean winds over the whole area, making it suitable for all levels. Sea shoes are advised due to sea urchins.

Sailing Area: El Yaque offers some of the very best windsurf and kitesurfing conditions anywhere in the world. Pefect for freeride and freestyle, the 300m sandy, waist deep area is ideal for beginners and intermediate to learn water and beach starts. With side shore wind from left steadily increases to around 4-5 Bft by midday and further increases throughout the afternoon with 1-2 m high ramps, ideal for first jumps or loops.

Facilities
There is the well known Ipanema Beach Restaurant next door plus new 'Chill Out Terrace' above the centre office for relaxing, listening to chill out music in between sessions on the water.

Services: Full rental and instruction service with a wide choice of the latest Fanatic & North sails. Accessories are available in a limited quantity and for free for voucher guests, we recommend you bring the own wetsuit, harness, shoes and gloves.Video analysis available for advanced and unlimited lessons. All centres join together to provide a safety service. SUP boards are available to voucher clients at no extra charge on windless days.

Private Storage: Limited space available for those with their own equipment at an additional charge for 20 persons, includes storage for 1 board + 2 rigs, fresh water washing place, security, team service, rescue. (This is required to be booked in advance to guarantee availability.)

Sports & Activities: Other activities which are available include kitesurfing, SUP and surfing. The centre also provides SUP tuition at beginner level and a surfing excursion. 12 Mountainbikes are also available locally along with diving, snorkelling, Laguna la Restinga tour, trekking tour, visit to local market, fitness, jogging, volleyball, Jeep safari excursion, mountain BBQ and fishing.

Tuition

Kitesufing Tuition:  All levels. Beginner, Advanced, Private & Supervision.
Equipment is included for Tasta it, Beginner and Step by Step (Advanced) lessons. It is excluded for private lessons and supervision.
Supervision - offering help and guidance to the local spots is available on an hourly basis

SUP & Sufing Tuition:
For Surf tuition there is private tuition, 2hr and 10hrs lessons and 6hrs lessons for any level. For SUP tuition there is beginners courses and Step by Step (Advanced) courses.
Equipment is included for all SUP and Surf lessons. For a 6hrs surf lesson equipment is included for the for 1 week.
