Lanzarote - Famara Kitesurf Centre - ,

The Sportif kitesurfing centre in Famara, Lanzarote offers conditions for all levels, along with kitesurfing, surfing & SUP courses.

Location: The kitesurf centre at Famara is located in town and a short walk from the beach. and is great for both beginners, who can learn safely, and also for experts as there are waves available throughout the year.

Services: Kitesurf lessons are available and can be booked in either groups or private lessons. For qualified kiters, minimum IKO level 3 standard, the full range of kites and boards can be rented. Please note at Famara beach there are no rescue boats. The wind and waves are onshore and can be very difficult for beginners to get out in certain conditions. Rental will only be given out if kiters are confident riders and cover can be provided from the beach, which is not available at all times.
Private storage is free at the Surf House accommodation or in the kite shop. You can use the pumps there.

Courses take place on locations along the beach, where conditions are best, with surf courses on the central part of the beach and kitesurf courses on the northen part.

Kitesurf courses have a maximum of 4 people per course and each lesson generally lasts 3hrs but it can vary depending on how fast each students learns. If the conditions are not suitable for kitesurf lessons then you are able to change them into Surf or SUP lessons or pleasent hikes around the island.

SUP and Surf courses are also available at the centre. The complete Surf course has a maximum of 4 people and is spread over 5 days with 5 hours per day, giving a total of 25 hours. SUP courses are 3 hours.

Equipment is included in Kitesurf, Surf & SUP lessons.
