If you're looking for a kitesurfing holiday, we have a choice of over 30 destinations around the world. Our locations offer the best conditions and choice of accommodation available for kiteboarding holidays & learn to kitesurf. Improve your kitesurfing skills on one of our kitesurf clinics with the best professional coaches or mix with a choice of sports or activities.
Each destination has a first class kitesurf centre staffed with experienced professionals for instruction and learn to Kite packages. These dedicated kitesurf centres stock the latest kites and boards and can offer storage and rescue facilities for independent kiters. All of our centres only use the best equipment, tried and tested in the the resort and specifically suited to local conditions.
For those looking to learn or develop their skills and technique a range of instruction programmes is available from tasters sessions to full 1 to 2 week courses.
Instruction is provided by IKO (the International Kitesurfing Organisions) professionally qualified instructors.
You can learn in a really short space of time. Lessons usually take place in small groups of 2 to 4 persons per instructor. Private lessons are also available.
The lessons are available in the following stages.
Level 1 - (usually around 6 hours)
- General introduction, safety & equipment, assembling the kite, safety systems, launching and relaunching, bodydrag.
Level 2 (approximately 6 - 10 hours)
- Correct kite set up,waterstart theory, control of kite and board, waterstart & first runs in both directions, launching and returning to launch spot, kite trimming
Level 3 (6 hours +)
- Rights of way, board without a leash, staying upwind using the edge, changing direction, sailing upwind, small jumps. Qualification to rent equipment.
Instruction can be custom made and adapted to any previous skills you may have learnt previously. Lessons can be booked in 4, 6 or 10 hours blocks over a 1 week holiday. Video clinics are also available either with local instructors, in the UK before you go or on one of our Pro Coaching with with Andy Gratwick the Head Training for the BKSA (British Kitesurfing Association).
