Join this week long Kite safari and travel in comfort to some of the best kitesurfing spots in the world. Sleeping on board means you wake up right on spot and get going as early as the wind. Sunrise and sunset kitesurfing in the most beautiful crystal clear lagoons, moving on to keep where the best conditions are. Meals on the move, on the beach and chilling out onboard  - eat, sleep, kitesurf. It’s an amazing experience.

M/V Sea Cruiser I is a beautiful 36m luxury motor yacht with 13 Luxury, air-conditioned double cabins with en-suite bathrooms. There’s plenty of space with 2 saloons equipped with TV, DVD, music system, comfortable sofas and spacious dining and deck areas.

Max number of guests: 26 in 13 double/twin cabins.

Itinerary

Saturday: Get picked up from Hurghada airport, 15-20 minute transfer directly to board the boat. If everyone is checked onboard the boat before 15:00 leave the same day. If not the departure will be approximately 06:00 the following morning.

Sunday-Thursday: The hardest choice of the day will be if you are going to get up at sunrise to get a session in before breakfast or not. Then hit the water for a full on session until the lunch is served on the beach to not missout on your time on the water. After sunset it's high time for a bit of relaxation while the dinner is prepared, often a barbeque on the tbeach under the stunning night sky.

(Don't forget your glow sticks for night time).

The crew choose the best spots to navigate too to ensure you get the optimum kiting conditions. All travel north (upwind) is done on the boat. If conditions allow travelling east, west or south by kite depending on the groups wishes. Normally the boat will visit at least three different spots duing the week. 

Friday: After lunch is the last leg of the journey, with a possible downwinder from the islands heading south. The boat will spend the night in the new Hurghada marina where it is possible tohead into town with it's many bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

Saturday: After breakfast it's time to start to pack up and the crew will transfer you to the airport in time for your return flight home.

Price: £599pp BOOK BEFORE 31 MAR 11 £565pp including full board accommodation on twin share basis, 3 meals a day, snacks and unlimited soft drinks on boards plus return transfers to and from Hurghada Airport. Dates 14-21 May11.

The Kitesafari is guided by the experienced team at Red Sea Zone who will show you round all the best spots that would not otherwise be accessible. This is for experienced kiters as no instruction is given on the trip.

Tuition at Red Sea Zone - El Gouna

Those who are still perfecting their up and downwind runs should book in for some tuition first. Combination weeks are possible with a week on shore to enjoy the perfect flat water lagoon at Mangroovy Beach and then join the boat or cruise at a later date.

Instruction programmes available from £218 (7 hours for IKO Level ll or lll), from £370 Levels ll & lll together (14 hours) or Start Up Course from £340 from beginner Level l, ll & lll - to riding in both directions (18-20 hours appoximately). 1 week's rental from £222 1 week rental (if instruction also taken). 

Prices start at £599 for 1 week’s full board cruise with 1 week BB at 3* Breakers guesthouse from £399pp including return flights & transfer for dates in May.
