For accommodation the hotel has ten bungalows, each with three large airy rooms and a small veranda that has magnificent views out over the sea. All the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans, an ensuite bathroom with a shower and the ever important minbar.

At the heart of the hotel is the main building, built in local attractive style, with an impressive terrace overlooking the welcoming ‘vanishing' pool and the endless lagoon blending into the horizon. Here also is ‘Le Bois d'Ebene' restaurant which serves a range of innovative menus that are skillfully prepared around the fresh local ingredients either grown from the hotels own gardens or the seafood fresh from the lagoon. To complement the fine dining, the bar competes with exotic cocktails and drinks served in the comfort of the terrace or around the pool. On the beach is ‘Poss Pesser' beach bar and small ‘Le Casier' restaurant serving meals and snacks during the day.

Mourouk Ebony offers a host of activities other than the windsurfing, kiting or diving. On rest days or the very rare low wind days, keep active on the mountain bikes, or explore on foot some of the secret places of the island. Children are catered for at the mini club and everyone is entertained in the evenings, culminating with the unique ‘Sega Tambour' where everybody has to join in and feel the real atmosphere of this remarkable island.  

Location: Perched on a rolling hillside that drops down to a white sandy beach and turquoise lagoon. The hotel is situated on the south-east coast, about half an hour's scenic drive partly by unmade road from the airport. 

Accommodation: A family run hotel with 36 comfortable air-conditioned rooms set in ten single story bungalows. Simply furnished with twin or double beds, fan, mini bar, en-suite bathroom with shower & wc and terrace with deckchair and magnificent views out over the sea. Villa Oceane rooms are more spacious and closer to the beach with use of a communal plunge pool on the terrace. The central apartment is duplex style with en-suite bedrooms and downstairs living room with a small kitchen. All rooms are set into the gentle hill side to afford glorious views over the lagoon and its islets.
