FANATIC Pro Camp Lanzarote 7th - 12th June
Fanatic the Boarders Center will be hosting a “CARVE & RIDE” windsurfing clinic with the dream team Tom Brendt and Yoli De Brendt 7th-12th June.
Radically improve your carving, gybing and general skills and learn how to ride the waves! The camp is open to both men and ladies and languages used are English, German, Spanish and Italian.
We offer you 2 top experts on hand every day to help improve your skills, un-stick those sticking points and smooth out any rough edges. In other words, two World Cup Trainers dedicated to making your dreams come true!
Lanzarote is ideal for this clinic, being located in the middle of the crescent-shaped pure sandy bay of Las Cucharas and safely surrounded by beach and shore on all sides. 
The wind is normally sideshore from the left (NE) and increases in strength the further out you sail. With lighter winds and flat water inside, further out the conditions are flat water and bump & jump, turning into open sea after approx. 500 meters. The true magic of the place resides in its well known wave spot that is easily accessible.
Once you sail out of the bay, a very VERY nice reef delivers rolling swells ranging 0.5 to 3 meters. The riding conditions are ideal - lots of space between the waves, always the possibility to exit the waves safely and a wave that breaks perfectly but has very little power. Truly the ideal spot for people eager to sail in (easy) waves of good size and good for riding as much as for jumping! Free surfing and SUP are also on the menu to make a full boarder out of you!
Lanzarote has much more on offer than just windsurfing. Stunning volcanic landscapes, top surfing spots all over the island, trekking and mountain biking, all types of cuisine for all taste-buds, great night life and superb value for money. FBC Lanzarote has a brilliant Boarders atmosphere for singles, couples and families and it’s where everybody hangs out to relax and chat.
TOM BRENDT
Tom Brendt has been successfully running clinics around the world for the last 8 years and is not only a top level sailor (speciality waves and freestyle) but also the trainer of Fanatic Pro Riders, following them and coaching them on PWA competitions all year round. As well as this, one of Tom’s hobbies is photography and filming so you have a guarantee of not only getting the best video debriefings, but also the best pictures of you to bring home.
YOLI DE BRENDT
Born in Venezuela, in a very short time Yoli became one of the finest female Freestylers (4th in the PWA 2009 ranking) and a keen wave sailor. Full of energy, talent and fun, she is also coached by husband Tom on the World Cup and runs the Clinics with him. Besides her fantastic enthusiasm, Yoli will be able to share all the little tips and tricks that any girl should know to improve on the water and give the guys a run for their money, adapting to each student’s level, strengths, rhythm and dreams. Girls rule!!
