El Tur is located on the west coast of the Sinai Penisular just over one hours drive from Sharm el Sheikh.  The city is the commercial capital of South Sinai and is not a tourist resort with all the attractions found elsewhere.

Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn on perfectly flat water or a more advanced windsurfer looking for bump and jump or even full-on wave action, El Tur has it all.

Sailing Spot & Conditions

The sailing area is found at Moses Bay on the northern edge of town where the thermal generated winds blow cross off-shore across the protected bay that forms the harbour.  On the inside there is flatwater, with rolling swells on the outside which can create bump and jump conditions with more gusty winds.

For waves, the local spot is Habibi Wave Beach just 2kms up the coast from Moses Bay; with a sandy launch into the onshore conditions sailed on starboard tack. The uncrowded and undeveloped venue at Moses Bay can boast conditions that many more popular spots would envy.

Culture & Activities

Being a commercial, port any nightlife is generated within the hotel or with a trip to Sharm El Sheik approx 1 hour away.
