Andy Gratwick
With over 15 years experience of teaching windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, sailing and numerous other watersports, Andy is one on the UK’s most experienced instructors on both water and snow. He plays an active role within the BKSA (British Kitesurfing Association) as Head of Training and as a Judge at many tour events.
Andy is very proactive with a number of initiatives to progress kitesurfing in the UK, including Instructor training, advanced courses, youth training and many more.
He still competes in course racing in the UK.
Andy has been running UK and overseas clinics for over 5 years and understands exactly what makes a successful coaching week. His clinics are there to improve all round skills. The best way to learn is by intensive time on the water in consistent conditions in a relaxed environment.
Clinics will include:
- - general riding tuition
- - stance
- - riding upwind/ downwind riding
- - equipment tuning, advice and types
- - basic jumping techniques
- - self rescue techniques
- - packing down at sea
Advanced clinics then specialise into waveriding, freestyle, racing and downwinders.
