The Spot

The center is situated on the north end of the bay in Sigri.  The wind blows side offshore and this is the reason why the water is very flat in front of the center. The spot is highly suitable to learn any kind of new manoeuvre. Here the Meltemi blows up to F6 in the height of the season.

The center is protected by an island called Nissiopi, which is opposite the center, preventing any possibility of drifting although a rescue service is offered for a small fee.  In the channel between the island and Sigri with the right wind conditions there are great wave riding possibilities directly from the centre. From the centre is is possible to visit the 5 different sailing areas all within in an area of 5 km. If there is demand the centre will organise surf safaris to all the other spots.

The centre consists of  an office, a bar, a storage and a small bike center. They offer our guests the latest 2012 boards and Simmer sails - Freeride, Freestyle and Wave models plus RDM masts. For beginners we have got professional teacherswith easy to use Bic Boards and very light-weight Simmer sails. Wind safaris are available with mobile unit to the other 4 spots in sigri with a selection of last seasons equipment bought in the trailer for rig changes on the spot.

The centre has a surfbar providing delicious toasts and hot and cold drinks. To relax in there are complimentary use of sun loungers and shaded are on the beach by the centre. If there is no wind at all we offer SUP boards and bikes (small charge). For safety there is a motorboat on standby at the centre. Once a week the centre organisinga  barbecue for guests.  This is small and highly professional centre offering a personal service.
