The centre is owned by an English couple and was the location of European Freestyle Championship event 2009. The centre lies in the middle of the 2km long Kouremenos beach. This is a smaller centre with a big heart but without compromising on quality. 80 brand new 2011 JP boards with 120 Neil Pryde rigs are available.

Set on the beautiful and picturesque Kouremenos Bayyou are on the water in no timeand enjoying a wide flat water expanse that is perfect for slalom, freeride and freestyle - hosting European Freestyle events.

The meltemi wind which blows here is side shore from the left and the average strength is 4 to 7 beaufort with most sail size used of between 4.5 and 5.3. This is an ideal location to practise Jibes, Freestyle moves on the Small waves which are found on the outside.

The wind has been compared to Karpathos in strength and offers constant wind conditions through the summer months. The slilght windshadow off part of the beach means beginners can enjoy less strong conditions. Showers and loungers are available to guest and Hannes and Davina invite you to joint there weekly Greek Night. This is relaxed and fun centre offering a personal service and set off the tourist track. A hidden gem.

Renting system
Based on a fixed board prebooking system guaranteeing your board is available to you daily. You have the option to exchange your fixed board with other available boards, at any point. The exchange finishes latest the following morning and your fixed board will be returned to you. You will need to bring your own wetsuit, harness or alternatively harnesses are available to buy at the station. A limited amount of harness lines are available. Please request in advance with your board.

Private storage
Some private boards and sails can be stored. Due to space, only 2 rigs can be rigged, per person at any one time.

Instruction

Instruction: All levels. Groups, private. VDWS instructor. Video analysis.

There are perfect flat water conditions directly infront of the centre allowing you to learn new moves easily. With the use of video analysis and the centres professional and highly experienced staff, will allow you to progress quickly and often in uncrowded conditions.

Where there is only one student for the beginner or step course, a private lesson will be given for half the time ie 4 becomes 2 hours and 8 becomes a 4 hour lesson.
