Rene Egli have been offering high class windsurfing holidays for the last 26 years and kitesurfing holidays for 9 years. Rene Egli are hosts to world cup events in both windsurfing & kitesurfing each year and helped break the world speed record with Sportif on the 21st July 1986.
Home to a world cup event every year the Rene Egli kite school is known the world over for its superb condition. Large dedicated kite zone for instruction, launch and landing. Shallow, tidal lagoon perfect for traininig. The school is located down by centre 1 with the beginner courses taking place in the huge lagoon further south down the beach. Courses follow the internationally recognised IKO teaching method and equipment rental is also offered for qualified kiters. Windsurfing and can also be booked through the centre.
Kit Range:
Compressor. Cabrinha approx 120 boards and 350 kites 3.5-14.0m². All 2010. Board: Caliber, Custom, Prodigy, Rival, S-Quad.
Instruction: All levels. VDWS - children (windsurf min 8 years / kite min. 50kg) begginers, refreshers, technique specifics, private. IKO taster. Certificates charged locally.
