Rene Egli have been offering high class windsurfing holidays for the last 26 years and kitesurfing holidays for 9 years. Rene Egli are hosts to world cup events in both windsurfing & kitesurfing each year and helped break the world speed record with Sportif on the 21st July 1986. The centre is now the biggest windsurf centre in the World.

Rene Egli Centre 1 is directly located in the Sotavento wind funnel and has water conditions from flat up to six foot waves. 1km beach next to Meliã Gorriones Hotel (10 mins walk). Deep water from beach. Facilities include sheltered sunbeds, use of showers, bar and free W-LAN. Rescue, repair shop & storage. Courses designed for children up to advanced sailors and available from this huge centre. Every year the PWA tour comes to Sotavento in July or August.
