Located in the grounds of the Regency Plaza Resort, only 10 minutes from the airport, in Nabq,a newly developed picturesque area on the north of Sharm centre it offers an excellent choice of accommodation it makes the perfect location for an all round holiday for non-kiters and families too. The centre offers the perfect location to learn, progress or enjoy a flat water location for all levels of kitesurfer.

A full range of IKO training courses are available from taster sessions to progressing through all three stages to independent riding which is achievable in a 2 week period covering everything from basic kite skills to your first rides, we can put together a tailor made package of instruction to help your skills development.  Highly experienced instructors ensure you progress in safety with the full back up of a dedicated kitesurfing centre with safety cover. As well as highly professional services on hand, you will meet like minded people who all love to kite or are taking their first steps into this addictive sport.

Advanced riders are equally looked after, from assistance with packing kit away whilst you enjoy a cool beer. There are also compressor stations to get you going faster and the beach staff are always on hand to help lay out your lines before your first session.

The centre offers excellent facilities including free 24hr WIFI, changing, showers, refridgerator for guest drinks and storage facilites. A wind meter allows you to guage wind strength. There is also a shop with kites, boards, harnesses, impact vest, clothing, Progression DVD's, spares etc.

For those holidaying with family, there is an excellent beach with sunloungers and beach bars, perfect for relaxing when not on the water. There is easy access to restaurants, bars and shops - just a short stroll along the public promenade. Some even hire electric scooters so they can cruise in style.

A Kite Service Package offers Launching & Landing and general beach assistance either with rented or your own equipment. 2 Compressor lines assist with pumping kites, plus equipment washing, drying & packing away service. A kite repair service is also available at the centre.



RENTAL
Available by the half day, full day & weekly rental packages. To rent equipment a certification card and possible assessment will be required to ensure you are at the required standard (ie Level III riding in both directions and able to change direction. It may be necessary to take refresher lesson or supervision for 1 hr before renting if the centre feel you are not quite independently kiting.

Kite: Full range of Naish (Torch, Helix, Cult & Cult Sport), Ozone (Edge, Sport & Light) & Nobile (NHP & 555) kites.  5 line ‘C'kites, Bow kites & hybrid kites

Boards: Full range of Nobile boards in all sizes.


COURSES

LEARN  TO KITESURF - 3 x half days

DAY 1: Includes theory of wind and safety awareness, basic flying with a 2 line kite, set-up of inflatable 4 line kite, launching & landing, water re-launch, self rescue techniques.

DAY 2: You will progress onto body-dragging, downwind, crosswind & upwind to recover the board, walking while piloting the kite with one hand, board-start theory on the beach) and board-start (in the water).

DAY 3: The final day you will continue to practice the water start but now practicing to ride the board & keeping the power in the kite as well as knowing the right of way rules.

The centre only IKO & BKSA Instructors and are teaching courses according to IKO & BKSA standards. Our courses are open to anyone from the age of 12 and above. Certification fees & insurance are included with all courses. (Guardians signature required for students under the age of 18 years.) All courses are conducted in the designated training area where the lagoon is knee to chest deep. After your course and as you progress you can blast out and ride around the intermediate/advanced area. During all lessons, there is a qualified instructor with you at all times. All of the kites are equipped with safety systems where you can release yourself from the power immediately.  As a student you will always be wearing a helmet and flotation vest for increased safety.

Essentials for the lessons:
All the equipment is provided in the lessons including wet suits if needed. The only items not provideed are water shoes. You an buy them in the shop when you arrive. Additional items recommended for lessons are sunglasses with a floatable band, high factor sunscreen, rash vest or T-shirt & shorts & drinking water.

Private Lessons - Advanced Trick Studies or Refreshers.
This is where the lessons are tailored to suit your needs. Maybe it's been six months since you did your beginners course and you want a refresher for that confidence boost. Maybe you want to work on a basic jump, back roll or improve your toe-side, it's up to you. 

IKO LEVELS

IKO Level I & II is a complete beginner's course and is aimed at getting you to an independent level to practice safely alone.

IKO Kiteboarder Level I 
- Theory about the wind & safety
- Basic flying with a 2 line kite
- Set-up of inflatable 4 line kite
- Launching & Landing
- Water re-launch
- Downwind body-dragging
- Self-rescue & deep water pack down
This course is 6 hours if done in a group (max 4 persons) and is normally done over 2 days.

IKO Kiteboarder Level II
- Crosswind body dragging
- Up-wind body dragging to recover the board
- Walking while Piloting the kite with one hand
- Water start theory
* Board start in the water
- Knowing the right of way rules
This course is 6 hours if done in a group (max 4 persons) and is normally done over 2 days.

IKO Kiteboarder Level III - Independent
- Riding in both directions
- Edging using heal & toe side of the board to change the course. Stop by edging
- Riding upwind consistently
- Switch direction
- Perform a small jump & land it
The skills within the IKO level III are more technical than in the levels of I & II. It is very difficult to put an exact time frame on completing all the skills in Level III. For this reason we generally concentrate on specific requested skills within this level.

This course is 6 hours if done in a group (max 4 persons) and is normally done over 2 days. Note: Courses carried out as private (1:1 basis) are based on half the hours normally done in a group (e.g. 6 hours group becomes 3 hrs).
