Our recommended Kitesurf centre is the only IKO approved centre on Mangroovy Beach.

Located between  5 to 10 minute resort taxi/buggy from the Marina, this is a spacious, purposed built and well set up centre offers rental, instruction, rescue and secure storage. The office and surf shop is well set up with full information on the area, wind stats, temperature and tide charts.

A compressor, pump and kitewashing facilities are available for those with their own equipment for a small service charge.

Changing rooms and lockers, storage boxes, freshwater, hot showers, WC, shop, shaded chillout area and refreshment mean you can stay all day long. The Kiteria Beach bar has a  choice of cooked breakfasts, sandwiches or local specialities as well as hot and cold drinks.

The centre beachboys help with your launch and landing and also provide watch the beach and the water area from one of the two observation towers on RSZ beach. A Rescue boat service is available for a small fee along with storage. There is slider and a kicker available to put into the water at your request.

As the only IKO accredited Kitesurfing centre on Mangroovy Beach and is staffed by experienced and professional IKO and VDWS trained staff. Assistance is offered to help you with launching and landing if required from the beach in front of the centre. Full rental, group, private and semi private instruction is offered. Groups are a maximum of 4 students per instructor with semi-private lessons for 2 students per instructor. Wearing helmets, life jackets (or impact vests) and water shoes is obligatory for our students who take part in IKO courses.

Kite Safaris are available in resort dependent on demand visiting various spots up and down the coast from El Gouna.

Please note: Because the kitesurfing zone is tidal instruction is scheduled either side of high water and the on-water time can vary throughout the year. The depth of the water depends on the phase of the tide (from ankle-high to waist-high). There are two high tides and two low tides in 24 hours. The strength of the tide depends on the phase of the moon and the season. It is possible to foresee quite precisely the time of a low tide and a high tide. Please call us so we can advise which weeks offer the maximum time on the water during your stay.
